LISTING OF ADDITIONAL NEWGOLD PLATINUM DEBENTURES

NewGold has, from commencement of business today, issued an additional 2,000,000
NewGold Platinum Debentures at an approximate issue price of R 148.50         per
additional NewGold Platinum Debenture, following subscriptions in respect of approximately
19,988.144 fine troy ounces of platinum.

After the additional issue, there will be 41,600,000 NewGold Platinum Debentures in
issue, referencing approximately 415,753.399 fine troy ounces of platinum.
